I'm a 27 year old Kiwi currently living in Birmingham, UK. I have a degree in social media and a background in website & database management so figured I'd try my hand at building a personal space. bencallaghan.com is currently nothing more than a Google Sites.. site. I'm throwing up what I have to show the world and seeing what sticks while learning what Sites has to offer. I'll add some photos and link socials and go from there.

Due to BoJo's incompetence I am quite squarely based in Birmingham, or Oldbury to be more precise. The working from home life has definitely had its ups and downs, but hopefully it won't be too long until the world is less COVID-y.

Well, that actually depends on how you mean "when".
I purchased the domain in January 2021, and will slowly be adding or improving things from there.
It is currently 2020-2; the shitty sequel where we truly see what life under COVID is. Rolling lockdowns are the norm, there have been over 100,000 deaths in the UK and 2 million worldwide. While the vaccine rollout seems to be going well here, it's still a long shot for any form of normality.

£10 a year for a space that is inherently mine sounded like a good deal, and how could I resist having the email ben@bencallaghan.com?

Work is going alright, I'm in a pretty serious relationship, and we have a Luna!
Let's see how things go over the next few months of being stuck inside. I think anniversaries of COVID-themed events will be a bit of a drag for most people.
